Cumin is an easy way to add delicious exotic flavour to your meals.

Suggested Uses

Together with coriander it forms the basis of curry. Use for chicken, lamb, and surprisingly pleasant with fish, vegetable and yoghurt dishes.

Dry fry before use to release the full flavour Add early in cooking. Try combined with lemon and clove.

Whole spices retain better flavour than ground. Store in the closed ziplock bag until needed and grind using a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle.

The Variety

Cumin Seeds are actually the fruit of Cuminum cyminum, in the same family as carrot, coriander, celery, caraway & parsley.
