Coriander Ground

Available in
30g ECO Pack

Coriander flavours foods from sweets to complex Indian Spice mixes.

Suggested Uses

Used sparingly it has a superb flavour perfect for using with chicken, pork, fruit and cakes.

Especially important in Chinese, Indian and Mid-East dishes and, along with cumin, is an essential ingredient in curries.

Dry fry before use to release the full flavour.

Add early in cooking and particularly recommended as a garnish.

The Variety

Coriander Seeds are actually the fruit of Coriandrum sativum, in the same family as carrot, cumin, celery, caraway and parsley.

All parts of the plant are edible, but most commonly know for its fruit as a spice and leaves as a herb.

For Your Appreciation

Coriander has a wonderful orangey bite when freshly ground and combines well mixed with black or white peppercorns.
